A horse of a different color! "COCKPIT"

It is a rarity these days to see a gorgeous grey stallion in dressage breeding. This magnificent Westfalen stallion comes from strong Holsteiner blood through his sire, Cantus (Caletto I - Roman)
His dam was by Pit (Pilot - Fruhlingstraum II)
Influenced from his Great Grandsire, the great RAMZES AA

COCKPIT had an excellent stallion performance tets at Medingen, and his high scores for rideability and jumping put him in first place. A short time later he became one of the all time most expensive horses at the auction of Muenster-Handorf. After first and other high placings at L and M levels tests for young dressage horses, he qualified for the Bundeschampionats for dressage horses in 2000 and 2001. He competed successfully at Intermediare with Katrin Luze in Germany before he was sold to France.
In addition being a talented dressage horse, Cockpit jumps as well as the best show jumpers - this is verified by his fine pedigree. His sire is the monumental Cantus, out of the celebrated Holsteiner 162 bloodline, which produced numerous champions, including Carthago, Coster, Feinschnitt, Sapphire, Sandro Kan, Santiago Z, Calvaro ridden by Will Mellinger and the stallion, Come On. The sire of his dam is the fabulous Pilot, and in his third generation, we find Frühlingsball. Cockpit is descended from the mare, Schild-amsel’s sweeping dynasty that goes back to the 1800s.
See more about him and his offspring on his stallion page on my website. I chose COCKPIT to bring in some valuable old blood, blood of true athletes that we might be missing in some of today's fancy young stallions. I don't want us to forget foundation and he fits in with my long time and original breeding goal of producing generous, all round athletes. Frozen semen is due to arrive from France mid Feb. Reasonably priced at $675 per dose.
