Breeze got to live w her wonderful Granny, SPIRIT

I have two fillies left, Cherokee Morning Breeze is by my Kiger, "Cherokee Twister". Twister is my soul buddy, and my dependable riding horse.

Breeze as a weanling in 2011

Genoveva, (Belissimo M - Florencio) is leaving us as well

Such a time for change around here. I feel almost horseless!

Sweet Genoveva has been SOLD, but will stay in the area, joining her former pasture mate Rica Amour! Such serendipity that they should end up together again. I will miss her sweet nature and watching her mature into the butterfly I believe her to be.

For "FRENCH KISS" fans! A special offer

French Kiss (Florestan - Donnerhall - World Cup)

Seppo, by French Kiss!

Seems that anyone who has owned an offspring of FRENCH KISS just has to have another! They are beloved for their smooth conformation, pretty types, dark coats, but most of all, their kind temperaments and big hearts. This is a stallion that can produce the perfect "Ammy Owner" type of mount.

I have the last of the French Kiss semen and offer it now at $600 per dose. It is well proven frozen semen, with absolutely outstanding fertility.

I am enjoying my little "sales" ! Now I have another offer......

AMPERE (Rousseau - Flemmingh - Amor)

When Ampere was just a recently licensed young stallion, I had a large supply of frozen semen set aside in the Netherlands, so convinced was I in his qualities.

He has proven to be an outstanding sire of athletic, attractive offspring, with numerous young sons now licensed for breeding as well.

The fertility of the AMPERE frozen semen has been just excellent, and I offer it now at $825 per dose, special pricing to start the new 2014 breeding season off with a bang!

Jazz is back! As is Hofrat..........

We missed JAZZ last year, and I have made an arrangement to represent him exclusively in the U.S.

We are able to bring good quality frozen semen in from him as well. Those doses will join a shipment in the next few weeks also. $875/dose

Loving these "new" young stallions this year..... meet "FINEST"

Finest

Hanoverian, 2011 Black (homozygous)

Furstenball – Wie Weltmeyer – Prince Thatch xx – Servus (Tk line Semper Idem)

Here is another young stallion that I am pleased to be the first to offer breeders here in the U.S. I have my “stamp of approval” on this outstanding youngster (as well as the quality of his frozen semen)

This is just an exceedingly interesting young stallion, one of Furstenball’s first. He shows a bit more leg and elegance than even his darling sire. From Wie Weltmeyer (Olympic mount of Emma Hindle), he has power in his engine. He shows very good elevation in his gaits, much freedom in the walk, charming, charming face and expression; swing through the loin, with freedom of the shoulders and front legs that reach up and out. His neck is very well placed, coming up and out cleanly from the chest. He is athletic and knows where his feet are at all times.

His dam is also the dam of St. Moritz Jr. This son of Wie Princess shows even more beauty, charm and movement than his older half brother. Take a good look at this exciting young stallion

He is already up on my STALLION ROSTER, where you can find video on his page.

Price $775 per dose

DARK PRESIDENT is now fully licensed KWPN

Ridden by his regular rider from President Dressage Stables, who had never ridden in stallion competitions before, DARK PRESIDENT (Wynton - G Ramiro - Pion) did a very good final stallion test and earned his license with KWPN last week.

Quality frozen semen is in stock, $625

OK! Want me to tempt you with another wonderful young stallion??? FANTASTIK

Homozygous Dark

Can he be any prettier?

In FANTASTIC (Furst Romancier - Sandro Hit - Welt Hit II), we find an incredibly beautiful and charming young stallion ... that happens to have wonderful movement. He has already been listed on my Stallion Roster, and quite a few breeders have already found him!
Video on his page on my website $625/dose

Lovely new refining stallion" with superior suppleness and movement - FIDERBACH

FIDERBACH (Fidertanz -   Baroncelli - Alabaster - Freiherr)

This young stallion moves with such elasticity and freedom; so balanced and uphill.

Fiderbach has a strong pedigree for performance; power from Fidertanz, balance from Baroncelli, beauty from Alabaster! I thought of adding him to our stallion base for those mare owners who constantly search for a "refining" stallion, but that also has style, type, elegance, and fabulous movement! He is a charming beauty with extremely nice suppleness.

Licensed for Oldenburg, Westphalia, , all southern German associations. $650/ dose

Here is a good son of Chacco Blue - CHACCATO ! Frozen semen arriving end of January

CHACCATO (Chacco Blue - Stakkato - Mytens xx)

Last year Chacco-Blue prematurely passed away. He was among the great promises of German sports and he was trusted to take on the legacy of his famous great-grandfather Caletto I, one of the worlds best jumping horses of the eighties.

Chaccato's dam sire is also a living legend: For years, Stakkato holds the lead in the breeding value ranking as Germanys best jumping stallion. His offspring have earned 1.6 million Euros, among them are more than 60 licensed sons and 113 successful S-level horses in the year 2012. Adding some beautiful TB blood is Mytens xx in the third generation, completing the pedigree of Chaccato, who bears a striking resemblance to his fathers looks and technique. Chaccato – best genetics for future show jumpers!

Licensed for Hanover, O.S.I., Westphalia, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, all southern German associations. Price per dose $675.

FLORISCOUNT coming along so wonderfully....

Here is a brand new video of FLORISCOUNT (Florencio - Donnerhall - Walldorf I) under saddle with Oliver Oelrich. He has his changes, canter pirouettes, passage........... all by his age of 8 years. I have belived in this handsome stallion since he was young, and we have some super Floriscount foals in this country. Semen quality has always been exceptional.  $850/dose

This goes to show - you never know how you will impact another's life. Be Kind!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Beaute' and Me - early years!

Beau was the kindest ever

Beau w one of his little friends!

Hello Ms. Yancey,

My name is Heather Smith Bulba and I knew you many years ago.  You made a huge impact on my life.  I was so thrilled to come across your name on the internet as I was searching for a picture of Beaute to show my daughter.

You were kind enough to take me under your wing back around 1978.  My family had just moved to Southlake and I was friendless and a miserable teen.  I had a huge passion for horses and wanted to learn everything about them.  I boldly walked up to your place one day and asked if you would give me horseback riding lessons. I was thrilled that you agreed and I proceeded to come down to your place as often as I could!  I have fond memories of watching the foals frolic while I had the privilege of riding Beaute on the lunge line.  He was and still is the most gentlest and beautiful horse I have ever known.  I also made Helena's acquaintance -- she threw me one day.  I don't know who it scared more -- you or me.  I always felt so bad for you when that happened and so glad we both survived!  :)

I still have the horse figurines that you and your parents gave me and I recall the memories at your beautiful place in the woods often.  I tell my daughter stories about my time spent with you, the horses, Thaddeus, Echo and Pinky Lee.

I read about Yancey Farms on line.  It looks like you are still hard at what you love best.

I wanted to thank you for making a difference in my life.

Warmest regards,

Heather

Voting going on for KWPN "Horse of the Year" ....

Kannan

Kannan

KWPN born 1992
Predicate: recognized
WBFSH sire ranking: 2nd
Breeder: M. Kramer-van der Meer of Oud-Beijerland

The Voltaire son Kannan enjoys an excellent reputation around the world, making him a magnificent standard bearer of Dutch breeding. He is equally successful as a breeding stallion thanks to his many top jumper offspring, including the Olympic champion Nino des Buissonnets. As a result, Kannan is currently number two in the WBFSH ranking for breeding stallions.

Broere Jazz rejoins us as well!

Broere Jazz with Tineke Bartels in Jerez

With a change in management a couple of seasons ago, we have not had access to JAZZ. Well, tenacity sometimes pays off,  (!) and I am pleased to announce that he will rejoin our virtual stable this season. The semen is, at this time, being evaluated for numbers at University of Utrecht, and will arrive in my first shipment out of Holland after the New Year. Yancey Farms was awarded exclusive agency here.
Since the WBFSH started keeping "Sire of the Year", JAZZ was #1 for 4 years in a row, 2008 - 2011, and has been in top 3 the last two years. I really don't need to tell any dressage breeder who JAZZ is, and also to mention that the fertility of his semen has always, without question, been excellent. $1350/dose

Maybe this season is shaping up after all!!

Another young filly growing into a mare....

This is FRIGGA (Florencio - Pik Labionics - Manstein - Tin Rocco). She is one of the 3 fillies I bought out of South Germany as babies. I like to quietly start them in the winter before their third year, giving youngsters a solid start. Then, it is easy to pick up again.

This is such a solid young mare. Study her if you want to see exemplary hind legs, weight bearing, good articulation in hock joints. She is supple, fluid and has a wonderful , big relaxed walk. All in all, with her deep pedigree, she is a total package.

Fred Tuller has been starting all of my horses, Warmbloods, Kigers, Lusitanos, TBs since 2000. They always come back from him feeling so good about themselves. I am spoiled! And Cookie there to take photos.... it was a lovely day yesterday!

Time for a filly update

Time sure gets away from me. These two spectacular girls are now about to turn TWO years!! It is hard to believe. I love the shiny black with the shiny, blingy red in the pasture!

Quite Feine, coming 2

"L" is Qredit - Feiner Stern - Riverman
